Our showroom features a wide range of flooring products including carpet, laminate, SPC vinyl plank, tile and hardwood. Flooring Specialist
JOURNEY FLOORING has expanded our showroom with a Contractor and Builder focus; adding tile and custom home finishings to our product offerings. Our sales team is looking to add a Flooring Specialist to continue developing professional relationships with customers.
Start Date: Immediately
Job type: Full-time, Commission
Successful Candidates Must Possess:
+ 3+ years Flooring Sales experience
+ Construction knowledge
+ Positive outlook, genuine and authentic
+ Collaborative personality
+ A clean class 5 BC driver's licence
+ Integrity, accountability, excellent attention to detail
Job Duties Include:
+ Networking and fostering new connections
+ Driving sales via phone, email and face-to-face strategies
+ Pursuing leads in sales pipeline
+ Ability to advise/train clients on products & brands best suited for their project
+ Continuously build product knowledge & stay up to date with industry trends
+ Track and manage workflow and projects
+ Ensure paperwork and systems are followed with excellence
+ Priority is given to applicants that can demonstrate they have an active and robust book of business.

Salary: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Flooring Installer and Labourer
Journey Flooring has a great opportunity for someone to join the Installation team in Langley as a Labourer.
This teammate will be reporting directly to the Project Manager/Coordinator. Journey Flooring provides flooring for new construction and renovations with a focus in contractor sales, commercial installation, residential installations and high end custom homes. Job Duties Include:
+ Assist the Journeyman
+ Installations based on experience
+ Perform any manual labour (clean up, sweeping, packing materials, etc.)
+ Opening and closing sites as needed
+ Warehouse operations (picking and loading)
+ Site deliveries and pack in/out materials
+ All other duties assigned by Project Manager/Coordinator
+ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Commercial Installer

Job Duties Include:
+ Install a variety of commercial flooring materials, including but not limited to carpet, vinyl, laminate, and tile.
+ Interpret project specifications and blueprints to determine the layout and installation requirements.
+ Must be able to install Resilient sheet goods and flash coving.
+ Prepare surfaces for installation, ensuring proper adhesion and smooth, level substrates.
+ Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to achieve project goals.
+ Identify and troubleshoot issues during the installation process, providing effective solutions.
+ Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the quality and precision of installations.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to create a secure working environment.
We Require:
+ Minimum 5 years of flooring installation experience
+ High School or secondary diploma or equivalent
+ Experience in a warehouse environment
+ A clean Class 5 licence
+ Criminal record check
+ Good knowledge of the Lower Mainland
+ Team players who are service-orientated

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
+ Resilience and ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

WAREHOUSE DELIVERY DRIVER
JOURNEY FLOORING is looking for a warehouse deliver driver to join our team. This role is based out of our showroom & warehouse in Langley, BC but successful applicants must have a good knowledge of the Lower Mainland.
Job Duties Include:
+ Working on our 5 ton delivery truck
+ Picking up product from various distributors in the Lower Mainland
+ Loading materials into job sites with a professional attitude
+ Working with the Journey Team to ensure the warehouse is clean and organized
+ Maintain daily records/logs
+ Ability to lift 65lbs in a warehouse environment
We Require :
+ High School or secondary diploma, or equivalent
+ Experience in warehouse environment
+ A clean Class 5 licence
+ Criminal record check
+ Good knowledge of the Lower Mainland
+ Team players who are serviced orientated
+ Integrity, accountability, excellence
